The Journalism Department at the College of Mass Communication is conducting personal interviews for second-year students to join the department.

As part of the Journalism Department at the Faculty of Mass Communication at Beni Suef University's preparations for the new academic year, and its keenness to select the most distinguished students to join the various specializations, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, Professor Dr. Mamdouh Makkawi, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nisreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Fatima Fayez, Head of the Journalism Department, the Journalism Department held personal interviews for second-year students wishing to join the department.

During the interviews, Dr. Fatima Fayez questioned the students on a series of questions aimed at identifying their journalistic interests and their understanding of current issues. She also assessed their journalistic writing, editing, and headline-writing skills, as well as their critical thinking and analytical abilities. She also asked questions about the reasons for choosing the journalism department and their vision for their future careers.

The department head emphasized that these interviews represent a fundamental step in selecting the most serious and talented students, ensuring the formation of a cohort capable of meeting media challenges. She explained that the department seeks to qualify its students through advanced study and training programs that combine academic and practical aspects.
