From inside the Faculty of Mass Communication... The President of Beni Suef University inspects the team of excellence evaluators in preparation for the Egypt Award for Government Excellence.

As part of Beni Suef University's commitment to promoting a culture of institutional excellence and comprehensive quality, and as part of the university's faculties' preparations to participate in the Egypt Government Excellence Award, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Tarek Ali, President of the University, today paid an inspection visit to the Faculty of Mass Communication to follow up on the work of the Egypt Government Excellence Award evaluation team, a national initiative launched by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development with the aim of improving the performance of the state's administrative apparatus by establishing standards of quality, innovation and governance, and enhancing the spirit of competition among government institutions and agencies, so that administrative, educational and service services are more effective and responsive to citizens. The visit was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Abu Al-Hassan, Dr. Eid Abu Bakr, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Dr. Mohamed Qaid, Dean of the faculty of Computers and artificial intelligence, Dr. Amgad Bahig, the award's evaluation officer, Dr. Gomaa Saeed Tahamy, Director of the Faculty Development Center, Mr. Mohamed Selim, Secretary General of the University, and Mr. Mohamed Ali Khalifa, Director General of the Faculty.
During the visit, the 20-member faculty evaluation team, headed by Dr. Ashraf Soliman, team leader, and Ms. Intisar Abdel Baqi, Director of the Environmental Projects Department, reviewed its work plan, which included evaluating the university's various faculties according to institutional excellence standards, in preparation for the upcoming field visits, leading to the selection of the best faculties nominated to participate in the competition.
The university president praised the team's efforts and their commitment and seriousness in implementing quality and governance standards. He emphasized that Beni Suef University's participation in the Egypt Award for Government Excellence represents a strategic step toward enhancing institutional performance and achieving sustainable development goals in line with Egypt's Vision 2030.
For his part, Professor Dr. Mamdouh Makkawi, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication, expressed the faculty's pride in hosting the work of the faculty's evaluation team, noting that this step reflects the university's commitment to building an institutional framework based on continuous development and advancing academic and administrative standards, in line with global best practices in higher education.
