Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Tarek Ali, President of Beni-Suef University, and Professor Dr. Mamdouh Mekawy, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Abdel Aziz El-Sayed, former Dean of the Faculty; Professor Dr. Islam Othman, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Professor Dr. Nesreen Hossam El-Din, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Journalism Department, chaired by Dr. Fatma Faiz, organized the monthly scientific seminar for the Postgraduate Program in News Journalism, with the attendance of faculty members, teaching assistants, and postgraduate students.
During the seminar, several research proposals submitted by master’s students were presented. The professors offered a set of scientific and methodological remarks, emphasizing the importance of aligning the research title and proposal with the department’s research agenda, ensuring that the study’s questions and hypotheses are consistent with the theoretical framework used, and stressing the need for accuracy in selecting the methodology, tools, and study sample to guarantee high-quality scientific outputs and adherence to academic standards
